The space integrates the experimentation patios with ceramics, wood and digital fabrication; in them, students will be able to assemble their teaching, research and graduation projects. Likewise, students from other careers and UDB staff will be able to make use of the services provided by these laboratories.
The Digital Fabrication and Experimentation Yard is a space for the development of prototypes and products in different materials. Here, it is possible to transform materials such as wood, plastics, paper and textile fibers by printing or laser cutting. It is equipped with four 3D printers, two laser cutters, a thermoforming machine, a vinyl cutter and CNC machinery.
The wood experimentation and prototyping yard is intended for work related to linear carpentry for the production of furniture and utilitarian or decorative elements. It is equipped with miter, circular and band saws, edging and thicknessing machines, column drills and wood routers.
